I went to my first Conference ever; ACM FAccT. And I have never felt more seen. The discourse, the debate, the dissemination of knowledge with the acceptance that we are thinking logical beings. I get emotional thinking about how that small area held so much power to change the world.

I think at this point the club is ready for a reset. I am supporting Spurs through thick and thin but I also don’t mind if Levy fucks it up and is forced to sell the club. I’m tired of this one man ruining anything remotely good happening to our club.

Haha enjoy the parade. I wish I was in London for it. But I’ll raise one in their honor (again!)

Walking into the lab. Like a boss. Looking dead in the eye of that Arsenal fan. Sweet sweet revenge. Long live the cockerel. Long live Ange.

Omg I was so drunk on our win, I went online full-on looking to shush anyone who seemed to be a hater. 😂😂 my apologies to you and Jennifer; didn’t realize yall were proper spurs. WE ARE THE EUROPEAN CHAMPIONS!!!!

Jayesh Tripathi @jaysnrays.bsky.social · 22/05/2025

Nah neutrals understand games aren’t always supposed to be 10 goal madness. You are not a neutral cuz you didn’t want one team to win. YOU can go suck it. When we look back 20 years from now, all we will see is 2 teams, both qualified for CL but one had a trophy. So enjoy that 2nd place trophy.

Last I checked Spurs are playing UCL.

Jayesh Tripathi @jaysnrays.bsky.social · 21/05/2025

Honestly, in that entire statement, the most shocking part is that we played low block defensive football under Ange 😂😂😂

Jayesh Tripathi @jaysnrays.bsky.social · 21/05/2025

Look at the xG. With those many shots, United might as well pass the ball to the keeper.

I haven’t been the same since I played TLOU2. Amazing game and what a story; but life becomes only shades of grey when you realize everything in it stems from revenge. Idk if making the world see the story is good for the mental health of the world. Amazing story though.

Jayesh Tripathi @jaysnrays.bsky.social · 27/03/2025

Mental health >>>>> everything else. Take care. I am on and off social (it is better this way too, with everything happening in the world) while I get used to my ADHD meds.

Jirachi is such a nice pokemon. And I am a 12 in NFL and CFB, but I absolutely adore Baker Mayfield and his story. I hope yall do well in NFC South.

I have finally finished PS4’s Spiderman storyline lol. A little late.

Flareon EX from Generations is the cutest.

They fired us from the industry. They didn’t give us jobs when we graduated. Now they are threatening a WW3 on live TV. I genuinely don’t like where this is going. My generation is suffering from a bad economy, an onslaught of wealthy lining their pockets and authoritarian governments.

010

Jayesh Tripathi @jaysnrays.bsky.social · 27/02/2025

Yeah design wise; Totodile is the clear winner here.

Jayesh Tripathi @jaysnrays.bsky.social · 25/02/2025

Why don’t we play Pokémon in real life? Start off in your region of the world, and we have local gym bosses, and you can achieve local badges. Collect 8-10 of those to fight the elite 4. Do it for every region in the game. Winning the regional battles gets you a virtual/real life gym badges to brag.

Thanks I hope things are great for you too.

Awful week; Murphy’s law in full effect. Trying to get past it and prepare for next Monday.

110

Jayesh Tripathi @jaysnrays.bsky.social · 12/02/2025

They are simple. They follow one set of rule and barely change their behavior. Humans on the other hand; there aren’t words that can describe their behaviors and patterns some times. I would gladly defect to aliens if there was a war between aliens and humans. Anything is better than this.

010

Jayesh Tripathi @jaysnrays.bsky.social · 10/02/2025

I actually appreciate your point. The entire conversation has been rhetorical and illogical on the other platforms. I think if we can introduce some sort of feature that reinforces the logical correct side of the conversation while not demonizing the other side; it would do wonders for the society.

happy first birthday to Bluesky, and what a year it's been! with every day, the need for an open network that puts people first becomes increasingly clear. we're glad to be building this with you. after all, the heart of a social network is the people.

Popular meme format, grandma labeled with "bluesky's public launch was one year ago today." Younger person helping her labeled with "sure grandma let's get you to bed."

This is actually amazing. The people who aren’t hardliner MAGAs and supported Trump are questioning their choice. Let them wake up; let them realize and start questioning the hardliners.

Literally the same. I occasionally play Pokémon Go. I need to get back into playing the original series games. If you have a group I am trying to find people to play Pokémon Scarlet Violet in the multiplayer mode.

Jayesh Tripathi @jaysnrays.bsky.social · 04/02/2025

Agreed. I believe, the solution is neither ban cars nor ban public transportation. It is somewhere in between; the goal should be finding the appropriate ratio of responsibility of the cost of transportation between public and private funds which maximizes efficiency. Again anecdotal; need research.

000

Jayesh Tripathi @jaysnrays.bsky.social · 04/02/2025

If you are interested in constructive debate; give me some time and I will reach out to on my findings. I am also open to scientific papers and articles that you may find are supportive of your side.

210

Jayesh Tripathi @jaysnrays.bsky.social · 04/02/2025

I’m not against the use of cars in cases where cost of travel through public transportation is high; my argument lies in taking advantage of structural patterns. My argument is anecdotal evidence, and I have identified 3-4 scientific papers representing each side to support or withdraw the argument

100

Jayesh Tripathi @jaysnrays.bsky.social · 04/02/2025

Completely agreed. However, I see cars as a transportation cost being borne by individuals and governmental agencies (cost of highway and road maintenance); where I have seen majority of traffic traveling between suburban areas and urban centers in a very inefficient manner (traffic jams).

100

Jayesh Tripathi @jaysnrays.bsky.social · 04/02/2025

Having said that, cars do have a use. 1) On a race track as engineering marvel. 2) In cases of emergencies when ambulances or immediate response isn’t available. So buy cars, but as a car-enthusiast and only for personal use in emergencies. Don’t use cars to just buy a roll of toilet-paper.

000

Jayesh Tripathi @jaysnrays.bsky.social · 04/02/2025

People have become so car dependent, more often than not I am outpacing them on my bike or even on foot. As for long distance, I am traveling faster than them at a cheaper cost through trains or buses. I save money and I am supporting local businesses by buying small and local. #FuckCars

Exactly. For some reason everyone confuses progressivism for the modern liberalism movement in US.

010

Jayesh Tripathi @jaysnrays.bsky.social · 02/02/2025

We need a progressive political front that is pan-world. There is a lot for Americans to learn from Asians, for Asians to learn from Europeans, for Europeans to learn from Africans and so on. Rn politics is a huge groupthink, controlled by a few. Is that ethically correct?

000

Jayesh Tripathi @jaysnrays.bsky.social · 02/02/2025

This is coming from a fly-on-the-wall observer since America is not my country. Bernie is the most logical choice for the working class and the educated. He refuses to be attached to strings and become a mouthpiece/puppet of the established. Unfortunately, his fight is a losing fight.

040

Jayesh Tripathi @jaysnrays.bsky.social · 02/02/2025

You are looking at Bernie as a modern politician. He is a socialist; who is represents the working class. His stance is oblivious to political dogma (for the good or the worse). The other two sides present issues with personal wrappers on top of it. Bernie presents it as it is.
