James is there is a place on your site where you actually present the citizens agenda itself, as against writing something about it?

Not the odds, but the stakes. That's my shorthand for the organizing principle we most need in election coverage. Not who has what chances of winning, but the consequences for American democracy. Not the odds, but the stakes. Sep. 11, 2023

New boss David Ellison has a press conference. @status.news gets to ask some questions. www.status.news/p/david-elli... Listen closely. It's like: "We want to be in the truth business, and thereby the trust business, so... yeah. In our conversations president Trump has been enthusiastic."

Yesterday I slipped and published the wrong draft of my post about, "Polarization Is Not the Problem." But I got lucky with the error, which made enough sense that no one noticed. Today I am publishing a better version of what I was think is an important piece by @lilymasonphd.bsky.social

The Daily Beast knows that it is "character driven" in its election coverage. That's an improvement over the view from nowhere. www.editorandpublisher.com/stories/the-... That the biggest character will always be Trump is their "view from somewhere," which is valid but costly too. Make sense?
