After ranting about the state of the Discovery Centre, I must note: I was personally not a happy camper on this trip. Someone keyed our new car in the library parking lot and THEN I got a parking ticket in the Seaport lot (my fault, I was distracted and forgot to pay). Ugh. At least my son had fun.

Right? And it should never be on MANY fronts. Acceptable if it is 1-2 things (with signs up apologizing for them not working as intended, saying that we are working on it). But where they stand now? Jeez.

Their “rotational” displays (currently focused on space and astronauts) are usually great, but it seems like they are putting ALL their money into these displays and ignoring everything else that should be fixed.

I’m sorry for being a negative nelly… but, does anyone else find it as unacceptable as I do, how many exhibits are constantly broken at the Discovery Centre? That’s not even to mention the maker-space which is now abysmal. For how much money you pay to get in, I expect everything to work 🤷‍♂️

I genuinely don’t understand my neighbours garbage habits. I feel like they’re fucking with me. I find their garbage on my lawn all the time, but it’s always the same thing: Kraft cheese singles wrappers. For extra context, I have tried to get to know them but they don’t care to. They’re renters.
