Had some real cringe stuff typed out for a bit follow-up but I will spare you all from it bc I am in a good mood as I finally have new canned coffee

Huge news, store nearby actually has an assortment of canned coffee brands that isn’t just the two big names. Bought a variety to stock at work and plan to sample throughout the week at midday, finally getting a glimpse into the dream of the salaryman experience cracking open a cold one on the clock

My trio is currently two of him and a sparxie, the aura is immense. The only thing better would be securing a gold plated laboochurine

Don’t be shy, eat the locust, just not the grasshopper - they’re empty!

For sure, I really enjoy ellipsis when I do use it, so just excited to see it get better!

We’ll get there trust. The people yearn for a better future filled with reasonably priced burgers and yuri

Unironically this is possibly the biggest argument as to why people might start giving a shit about the state of the world at least here in burger country. Burger too expensive and or unsafe to eat and the average American Joe will not stand for this

The doc title is literally “inked flowers 2: more ink more flowers 2” and it’s not even a sequel. I think inversion still works but I’m still open to anything, but no pressure, there’s still plenty of time before this sees the light of day

Seems like we may finally get offline mode and an app for Ellipsus some time during this month If you haven't tried out this amazing Google Docs or Microsoft Word alternative, definitely try out Ellipsus 🎉

Yuppp!! And Astra’s going to hsr so it’s like her and Robin are tag teaming 🥺

Nothing confirmed yet but likely, so between her and Robin we’ll be eating well 🙏

This implies pearl is also here on the team, tho e1 huohuo legit might not be bad either?

I raved about it for half of august and it's finally here, my new #ZhuYabi fic "One Wish Girlfriend", a full on fluff transition fic inspired by obsession (but it's not horror) Had a lot of fun writing this so hope you'll enoy! [ #ao3meimei ] archiveofourown.org/works/939844...

Chapter 1 of the AO3 fic "One Wish Girlfriend"

Summary:

Zhu Yuan lives deep in the closet, hiding her trans identity from everyone except her long time girlfriend, Miyabi. To everyone outside, she is Zhu Hongdeng, proud and manly PubSec officer, but to Miyabi, she is her dear Zhu Yuan, who keeps suffering from the way society perceives her.
When one day, Miyabi stumbles upon a little toy that pretends to be able to fulfil wishes, she doesn't hesitate for long: she would do anything for Zhu Yuan to stop suffering so much from the fear and body dysphoria.

Or: Miyabi makes a wish and Zhu Yuan wakes up with the body she always dreamed of.

Notes:

Let's set this straight: I haven't watch obsession, this isn't a horror fic, this is extremely self-indulgent, I just wanted to write a slice of life lovey dovey fic centred around a sudden "magical" transition and how it would impact the characters, considering this type of gender swap is common in manga but generally not with characters who actually crave for such a thing.
Little warning still, this story is mostly fluff, but the first chapter could be a bit triggering if you're sensitive about misgendering and strong body dysmorphia. In any case, please enjoy!

This isn’t even getting into the part that rap, hip hop, etc are very much western and cowboy in their own right but whatever Would I have rather seen another existing song araki listened to as the ed? Of course, but this is fine

050

I’m behind on jojo but caved and listened to the steel ball run ending to see what the fuss was about I’m sorry but yall need to chill. If the song was in English those mad would be hype about it but bc it’s j-rap and they don’t know Japanese + it doesn’t fit the vibe of anime music, so it’s bad

160

ye Ellen's marketing was everywhere at the start of zzz and her ep is (I still think) the most popular video on their yt, she also had the sales record until I think Miyabi, so she's had pull, but you wouldn't really know by today since she doesn't really exist as a recurring character lol

020

Been outlining original writing for the first time in like a year, definitely an odd feeling to come back on. It's refreshing to start conceptualizing a world/characters entirely from scratch and then a narrative from there. Just different creative muscles to work ig than fic writing but love both

160

ofc kafka is all but rumored so ya know everything could change. there's still hope for March to make the cut, but at that point why Anby didn't doesn't make sense, but that's all hypotheticals

Honestly from a brand distinguishability standpoint the choices make sense: Ellen is the og poster child from zenless, people online see her design and know she's the shark maid from the more "edgy" hoyo game, Kafka is one of the faces of hsr with long term fans. +Swapping the idols is an easy win

240

You're probably so right on this that it hurts lol Astra and Evelyn being the pair that made it in would have been so good and made a lot of sense for selling them together too, but I get why they chose Ellen as she's more iconic. Can always hope there's second rounds of collab characters later on!

True but it would kind of be a win for everyone’s word count if I go through with the longer idea

Oof.. the ideas that are sounding most appealing to use for Miss Wolfie in her band fic are probably gonna make this more complicated than I’d want.. but also probably making it the longest of the series too. Idk if I can go through with that 👉👈
