Makes me think of this piece I made speaking to the influence of branding on our minds. My kids can't remember where they left their shoes, but can recognize 95% of the logos they see.

'Behind the Scenes' The stage is a wonder in itself; sixty-nine hand painted backdrops are hung above the stage, manipulated manually by wooden rigging, ropes and tackles located stage left. #Stunday #Sunday #EastCoastkin #photography #nofilters #OC #SantaFeNM #ScottishRiteMasonicCenter

Lost art #4 - An image I made a few years back for my friend's band Battered Image. Take a close look at the "skull" in the middle; it might not be what you think at first glance. #batteredimage #texaspunkrock #jaymintonart #digitalartist #OC #multistableperception

So far almost every attempt of a DM on BSKY I have received has been from an account that was deleted. Kinda why I don't engage to them. Scamy MF's up to no good is my assumption. Cheers to the real people 💯

Thank you so very much. A little appreciation goes a long way and inspires me to keep going. I jump around on style a lot. No apologies! I just gotta make things that pop in my head.

A tattoo mockup i made for someone. Thought it turned out nice. You can use your imagination and invert the colors (i lost track of that one). "Combining an owl with a Celtic knot creates a symbol of wisdom, interconnectedness, and protection." #owl #Celticknot #oc #digitalart #tattoodesign

Thats what I would do. Sign up, give it a taste and if it doesn't feel like its working for them, it isn't. Parenting has no rules, but the best advice I was ever given was from my step dad = "all you can and have to do is love them". Raising #4 currently and they are all wonderful people.

The style indicates what to expect, but the school/instructors are the most important factor. Cobra Kai vs Miyagi-do thing is very real. I have been to both kinds of dojo's and previewed how everyone is behaving. Walk away if its aggressive. My best experiences were with Kung Fu and Aikido.

Yes, Kung Fu taught me how to defend myself and stay calm. In all reality, I have broken up more fights than I can remember and when people (usually drunk) have tried to get me to fight, I've been able to talk my way out of it. #JackieChan was my on screen hero 'Rumble in the Bronx'

Funny, we touched on this w our band known as "The Elected Officials (punk)." I felt like there was already a lot of NO, so we strove to get people to not just be pissed but to try to do something about it.

Thanks Jenny! I havnt been chatty here on bsky, letting my art do the talking. I do check in for political updates as there are some strong and inciting voices (yours being one of them) but I mostly relax with the artists and soak in the creativity. US politics has been a bit much.

Putting myself in Jim's shoes, I considered how not safe it would feel to be in the back seat of that car and how shocking it would be with every child dummy it stuck. 🙄

This made me think of protesters in Thailand using fish sauce (a stinky fermented condiment, like soy sauce only smelly fishy-foul) and human feces as a homemade non-lethal weapon. Anybody who got in the way had the concoction hurled at them.

Shiprock, New Mexico is a significant cultural site for the Diné (Navajo) people. The town is named after the nearby Shiprock rock formation, also known as Tsé Bitʼaʼí, "rock with wings" in Navajo. The formation is considered sacred and has numerous Navajo legends associated with it.
