Hey everybody, I’m taking the advice of every elected official I’ve ever yelled at who’s said “if you think you could do such a good job why don’t you try running for office”. Schools are super important for all of us, not just those of us with kids in the system, and I’m excited to fight for them.

I worked with someone who rode in the city and wore a helmet, but refused to put a bike mirror on her handlebar, she thought it was cringy. I think about her sometimes, and wonder how she feels about car side mirrors.

Parenting is beyond exhausting. Every new parent I've known has had to pull back from friends and hobbies for the first few years. Our society's focus on Rugged Individualism has left us bereft of tight community bonds in hardship. Please give yourself grace and accept/seek out any help you can

Queer Bingo is one of those reliably delightful events. Fun performances in between rounds of bingo, with friendly volunteers and staff. It's just a joyful place to be.
