My humble rack.
A wooden wine rack with assorted gins, some black morels, and some very hot chili peppers.

Excellent piece. I got completely taken a detour of hating AI, flashing fancy things, and disturbingly good algorithms by an ad I saw while reading it. If you do not know who Don Cherry is, this will fall flat.
A story about AI only given what people
want to see, or have already said, is ironically reflected in an ad about a tremendously talented showman for ice hockey.

Any idea what those pencil markings are on the inside page?
The cover jacket of Dreyer’s English, An Utterly Correct Guide to Clarity and Style. It includes a banner noting “New York Times Bestseller.”The copyright page for Dreyer’s English, indicating it is a first printing. Some cryptic pencil marks on the first page of the book.

And weirdly enough this fucking ad populated multiple times throughout the article. No societal coincidence here.
