It’s international Cat Day, so I figured it would be a good time to post something I drew up a few days ago: a proper ref of one of my most important characters, Abby Argail #furryart

Ref sheet for Abby Argail, a blond haired blue furred anthro cat girl created by Jayeon Kai, listing character details, weapons, outfits, accessories, and expressions.

artfight.net/~Jayeon_Kai participating in artfight for the first time

Jayeon Kai's ArtFight Team card. He is on Team Comedy, and he attacks furry artists and "whatnot" (i.e.: people with furry adjacent characters) He prefers traditional/pencil art, as is okay with Friendly Fire and Revenge art attacks (the latter being if he feels like it) His featured characters are Abby, Janet, catDragon, The Huntsmouse, and Celos. The character category he has highlighted in Characters I Have is "anthro".

My other dark and light duo! Soni is a legendary Dark Knight who sealed away a fallen empyrean judge and brought a long age of peace, and Anah, his partner, is a “Paladin of Words” who loves messing with him and others with her commentary. The former is my Warrior of Light in Final Fantasy 14!

An anthromorphic blue cat boy with green eyes wearing dark armor and boots with a red cape behind his left shoulder named Soni. He is looking at the viewer with his hand on his hip and smiling.

An anthro cat girl with peach fur and orange-yellow eyes and blond hair wearing a pink collared dress with a pauldron on her right shoulder that has a blue cape behind it, as well as steel arm guards and boots named Anah. She has a sharp double edged sword attached to her brown belt, and is grinning at the viewer with half-lidded eyes while shrugging, as if in jest.

Janet heard you’re pretty strong… Comm piece from @lotsoflatte.bsky.social

A white furred rabbit woman with long blue hair and red eyes named Janet. She is wearing a lavender bodysuit with two purple fingerless gloves and a black elastic band around her neck from the waist up and pulling on her right glove while smiling at the viewer excitedly.

Don’t worry about the sword! Abby’s friendly as long as you’re nice to her! Old raffle piece from @lotsoflatte.bsky.social

A blond cat woman with green eyes and blue fur named Abby Argail. She is wearing a black fingerless bodysuit with a purple jacket on top and holding a curved sword with a green blade over her shoulder and smiling fiercely at the viewer.

Oh great. We now have a Bluesky equivalent of “seeing that a video in your YouTube playlist was deleted but you can’t for the life of you remember what it was”

Next character: meet Zed, an incarnation of a legendary dragon and Levina’s husband! Don’t be too intimated by him, he is fascinated by mortal, non-draconian civilized life and is always curious to learn more! But he will fight to protect what is dearest to him, make no mistake.

A dark grey anthro dragon with green scales, and gray spikes/horns/nails. Zed has green eyes and an odd black tail with green spikes. He is looking at the viewer rather displeased and performing something similar to Mewtwo’s signature pose.

Janet, a rabbit who loves a good fight! She woke up from the ruins of a crashed ship and made contact with a magic rune in a cave, and now wanders the stars, training to become stronger so she can take on higher powers using her newfound physical and magical abilities.

A white anthro rabbit woman with long blue hair and red eyes wearing a lavender body suit with dark purple fingerless gloves, toeless socks, and a black rubber band around her neck.

Levina, the guardian of worlds! She is a fusion of a mortal and a draconian higher entity, but she considers herself for all intents and purposes to be a dragon. She may appear intimidating, but she is very friendly to those who mean no harm, and will happily engage with discussion in her interests.

A red anthro dragonness with silver secondary scales and green eyes, wielding a sword made out of green energy.

Next is the duo of light and darkness, not in that order! Celos/Cecil(io) and Eva(ngeline) are a close pair of fledgling knights who want nothing but the best for eachother and others! Inspired by Umbreon and Sylveon pairings.

Celos, a black cat boy with red eyes. He is wearing purple colored and other dark colored clothes with a golden ring accessory on the tail.

Eva, a white cat woman with blue eyes, and primarily orange and blueish clothing.

And next up is my actual sona! It’s me, “Jay”! Tried to get him to resemble my real life self as much as possible. His masked outfit is depicted in the second image, my current icon drawn by a friend of mine.

Grey cat boy with brown hair, hazel(?) eyes, and glasses. Wearing black jacket with hoodie, green shirt, blue shorts, and black boots.

Jay wearing a helmet/mask over half of his face with tinted green eye lens with a red border. He is also wearing a multicolor (white, green, and red) scarf, and his mouth is glowing green.

I cannot get over these Black Knight Squad mobile suits. They look and are named like nothing else in the Cosmic Era, and are actual straight up giant knight-shaped mecha. You’d think such things would be treated as a joke, but no, they’re played as 100% serious threats in universe.

The PSO2 version of my character Abby has come so far… feels good to be back.

PSO2 version of anthropomorphic catgirl Abby Argail, Jayeon Kai’s OC. She is wearing a mask and a “Thousand Rim” outfit from the game, and holding an assault rifle and shield and sports mechanical wings from her back.

NGS version of the character in the previous image, minus the shield and wings but is holding a gunblade instead.

hi I’m Jay I love playing games with multiplayer functionality that have character creators where I can play as a chuuni cyborg anime catgirl or a fluffy magic using feline swordswoman

Caved in and bought the paid version of Atlyss since the combat finally won me over. This catgirl is Argail, the name being the family my character Abby is from.

hello. perceive my kitty. her name is Abby Argail and she likes to travel the world. I like to develop her and other characters through roleplay
