Polls show that Labour lost nearly a quarter of their voters between 2024>2026 to Greens, and that 1 in 5 of those who made that jump did so *primarily* because of Labour's declining stance on trans rights. As well as being morally reprehensible, supporting transphobia is a big vote loser for them!

"why are younger gamers disinterested in following premium console game releases like I was at their age" can be partly answered by the fact that if you were a PS2 owner in the 2000s you had 3-6 of the best games ever made come out annually, and since 2020 the PS5 has 3-4 big sequels and little else

The poster child of the trick franchise is, of course, Tron. Sorry in advance to the Tronheads out there and I know the Tron: Legacy soundtrack goes. Other suggestions welcome! I'd nominate Power Rangers here in 2026, and maybe Tomb Raider outside of the games.

I have a working theory of what I call the "trick franchise", an IP that gets pushed hard under the impression that because it has wide recognisability that that's the same as having a big fanbase. He-Man has no shooters. What are the ships? People under 35 know him as the "heyayaya" man. Tricked.
