Can’t help but wonder if Shopify is getting a % of UPS’ fees for their part in pushing this whole fake “You owe! You *must* pay or else pay even more” narrative through their package tracking App. I mean they designed this big CTA inside their App to facilitate and expedite the payment process.

Shopify’s “Shop” App prominently featuring a message that an optional service charge of UPS’ for “duties” must be paid.
