reminder that vulnerability is the greatest measurement of courage ⚔️🌀🧿✨

women practicing sword flow and there's purple text superimposed on each image of her that reads:

you need to stop pretending that thing didn't hurt you. the culture of nonchalance is hurting all of us

every time you brush it off you trap all your emotions

every time you don't your feel pain you also don't feel your joy

people think you give your power away if you show it effects you but...you give your power away when you close your heart.

there's something so courageous about keeping your heart open in a world that is unfeeling and dissociated from itself.

okay so nobody asked but...🤓 here are the main things from three houses lore (mainly the history of fódlan and also the crest system) that I believe are going to be important in fortune's weave !!

a screenshot of a google keep note titled: Three Houses: Fódlan's Ancient History - Jax edition

Sothis — Goddess child (also an alien), Sant Serios is obsessed w/ her for some reason. She created a race of people called the Nabateans and then shared her skills and knowledge with native Fódlan ppl, who later became known as Agarthans. She expended so much of her power to end the war with the Agarthans that she presumably died but re-awoken within Byleth after Saint Serios tried to resurrect her by implanting Sothis's crest stone in Byleth when they were a baby.

Nabateans — descendants of Sothis. They all have natural green hair, green eyes, and can turn into dragons. Their blood contains "Crests" and they have "Crest Stones" in place of hearts, which they can use to transform into dragons and also use special hero relic weapons.

The Agarthans — native Fódlan ppl, once lived alongside the Nabateans. Sothis helped them build a rly high tech civilization complete with the nukes and modern missiles (also probably guns). They started a war with Sothis on the belief that they were better if not greater to the gods themselves. They have special dark magic powers that allow them to transform into a perfect clone of someone else, or to sacrifice one of their own to open a portal to a wack alternate dimension called "Zahras".

notes continued:

Crest Stones — The literal hearts of Nabateans. can be used with Crests to harness the power of the corresponding Hero's Relic weapon. Those Who Slither in the Dark created artificial versions of them from slain Nabateans. ppl who try to wield a hero's relic without the related crest, or when a crest stone is forcibly implanted into the body - it risks transformation of the wielder into a demonic beast. They can be passed down thru generations of ppl via the normal way like having kids, or also via blood transfusion or implanting them into a "human vessel".

Those Who Slither in the Dark — The BIG bad guys. They're the remaining Agarthan survivors after Sothis bombed they ass (think like the Flood in Noah's ark) during the war against her. Pissed & fueled by rage and revenge. They manipulated Nemesis (local bandit man) to break into Sothis's holy tomb to steal her bones to make a heroes relic weapon (sword of the creator) and her heart to re-create her crest stone. They also used many other Nabateans corpses they slayed to create more Crests and hero's relic weapons.
