I can't stop thinking how wrong the tech bros have understood creativity and creators. Or even just having hobbies. #erliart

Hey, everyone! The demo for the game I've been working on is live! You can play the demo for @whimindie.com 's Delivery Issues now on Steam and Itch io! Links to the demo and Kickstarter in this thread! #deliveryissuesgame #lemonwerewolfart

Drawn art of Eve and Ada from Whim Indie's video game, Delivery Issues. Eve is looking at the viewer and making a peace sign with her hand and smiling. Ada is looking nonchalant in the background.

One major benefit of flying so much is that i get to enjoy all the free lounge food i want if i come early enough to the airport. :)

I should archive my old webcomic on there before it’s probably lost forever, it’s been over a decade and i have no clue where the original files are haha;;

RIP tapas, for all its numbers of flaws, it used to have a nice indie scene back in the day when i used to post my webcomic there.

i guess i "didn't love it enough" to quit my 9-5, to lose my health insurance, to work in perpetual crunch, for a publisher that wasn't doing anything on their end to market or sell the book. passion exploitation works because YOU think you're not good enough. i'm telling you: you are.

I hope there isn’t some guy out there with size 36 pants who has my charms instead….

Jax 👻 Needs Sleep @jaxcels.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

Even if they can't find the original package and remake the order, it's definitely not arriving in time for my next con in two weeks. Because. Autumn Festival is right around the corner.

Jax 👻 Needs Sleep @jaxcels.bsky.social · 14/09/2026

I've confirmed with the manu that this was indeed the package that was supposed to be my charms and they are going to try to find it but god help me, I am going to scream.

The real problem we have is late stage capitalism and people being flung out of their career paths trying to pivot to other options. We’re all feeling the squeeze and i don’t think it is fair to put that judgment on each other when it would be more productive elsewhere.

080

Jax 👻 Needs Sleep @jaxcels.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

Table costs are also so hostile towards indie comics a lot of the time as well. You don’t really know the intention of the person with one comic or book on their table. They may have just started on that journey. Everything else on the table may be there to pad the cost of producing their passion.

Jax 👻 Needs Sleep @jaxcels.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

We should not be attacking each other for an ever decreasing slice of pie. It is on the showrunners to curate the kind of show they want so it is also kind of on them for accepting artists who may not quite fit the show.

190

Jax 👻 Needs Sleep @jaxcels.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

I think that this is a more than fair statement but i feel like people will use this to attack other artists at general comic and pop shows. I love comics! I do want to add more short stories and zines to my table! But there is a huge problem that is pitting artists against each other like this.
