Very big hugs indeed 🫂. I cut my family off ~10 years ago, not for the same reasons exactly but similar behavior. It gets easier, surrounding yourself with chosen family helps.

First dental appointment that I needed a filling at in a very long time, also the first one since I've been working on myself and getting more connected with my body/mind. Holy cow the anxiety spike and dump of adrenaline was not fun at all 🫠

As I’ve gotten older it feels like I wasted so much time, and wondering what could have been if I had given as much attention to my friends. Did my get me wrong, I cherish everyone in my life. I just wish I felt like I gave everyone more than I feel like I take.
