On Monday I start a new job after a 6 month sabbatical. It's hybrid, so my home office is now a workable space again. While overseas my Irish driving licence arrived: automatic transmissions only. All good.

I am popping over to Barcelona next week for the solar eclipse. Still getting my ahead around Europe being in my neighbourhood rather than on the other side of the planet. Will set up a camera to track it whilst I watch alongside. Very excited to experience totality!

Also, don't underestimate how much of our challenges with love are related to homophobia: we have literally been trained to be untrusting, anxious, and guarded. You've not failed at anything: if anything it's been taken away from you by society. Having said that, it's something that can change.

I doubt you are a failure. All relationships "fail" unless one sticks. Lots of people stay in substandard relationships, which is not a great way to live. Do what you love and if you meet someone it's a bonus. ♥️
