Day 34 of the government shutdown. Republicans are focused on blaming non-passage of a CR. Meanwhile, there is no action to produce the budget allocation bills required. In every previous shutdown Congress continued work to get those bills written and passed.

Day 19 of the #RepublicanShutdown and there are no House committees discussing an actual budget. They Republican controlled House failed to produce a budget, necessitating a CR. Every past shutdown has had Congress hard at work to produce a budget.

Day 17 of the #RepublicanShutdown and there are no meetings to work toward a budget package that would end it. The House has NOT done it's job and Speaker Johnson isn't calling on them to do it.

MAGA Mike is not opening work in the US House because he says the House has done it's job and it's up to the Senate to pass a Continuing Resolution to reopen the government. The fact that a CR exists means the House has NOT done it's job by passing a final budget.
