We went to Highclere Castle - where Downton Abbey was shot. I had never seen the show so it didn’t mean much to me but we decided to watch the first episode that evening. That was Monday, our fist full day visiting England. We’ve been to Bath and are now in York. We just finished S2Ep5. I’m hooked.

When I was in my early 20s I went to see Rocky Horror Picture Show every Friday for quite a while. Except for the dressing up part I got 100% into it. At one theater there was a hot girl who dressed up as Frank-N-Furter. We later dated for a while. #RIP

Ok here’s how we fix the issue with #disney resellers. Disney uses virtual queues for merch drops then goes to “stand by” when the VQ is done. New rule: for VQs, only 1 of any item per guest. No exceptions. Then free-for-all with standby. Then we’d see no RSers in the VQ. @lentesta.bsky.social

Fed up with AI? Here are some tips: When doing a google search tag it with “-ai” so it won’t default to AI driven responses. See an obviously AI ad? Call it out. Watching a video narrated by AI? Stop watching. Call out friends posting AI images. Avoid using it, avoid consuming it.

We had a bit of a scare last night. I’m in Seattle with my wife and daughter - they’re scheduled to go on a cruise to Alaska today. But my daughter’s cat had an emergency issue last night and her sibling had to take him to the vet. We were afraid they’d have to cancel the cruise. He’s ok now.

Our new house had awful bathrooms. Both were small and one is basically a wet bath (toilet and shower in one room). We are in the process of turning them into one somewhat larger bath and a half bath. So right now we have no bathroom. Porta potty out front t and showers at the gym. Good times!
