In principle, given that software companies like Microsoft do not themselves manufacture any physical hardware, **it should be possible to simulate them entirely with AI**.

Looking at the security footage from across the street, the first frame that shows a flame shows it all underneath and out the driver window. The stuff in the bed ignited later. So I’m thinking it started with the battery, either through a fault or sabotage.

This time last year I was sitting in a hospital room watching my grandmother fade away. It was something no one saw coming, due to a stroke on Christmas Eve. We were at her house just about every Christmas, and I miss her dearly. Merry Christmas everyone. Make some lasting memories together.

@samuel.bsky.team can we fix this issue on web where the Post header doesn't stay visible when scrolling down? This causes the back button to disappear without scrolling back to the top. This occurs when I save site as an app in Safari and make it roughly mobile-app size.

Up until recently I had continued calling it Twitter, because X is such a stupid name. But then I read this bit in Character Limit and no longer call it Twitter. Because they’re right, it’s not Twitter anymore.

found the culprit. Somehow my iPad Mini is way more thermally efficient, though maybe there’s far less to do there.

finally got around to reading @mmasnick.bsky.social’s article on protocols not platforms. i got to this spot and had a thought what if Elno secretly agreed with this issue, kinda explaining a lot of his otherwise absurd decisions with twitter. 🤷‍♂️ i doubt it’s true, but it was an interesting idea
