It could have been done with all smooth surfaces and clean lines, but instead there’s both a “Lego” feel to it, as well as the unique Star Wars vibe. Really fun set, I recommend it for a quick build with the kids! #Lego #StarWars
000
Jason St-Cyr @jasonstcyr.com · 09/06/2026
The set also has a nice detail in that a lot of the ‘black space’ has been built with a variety of interesting surfaces and textures that give the logo a “Star Wars” feel. You get the sense of the ships designs and architecture in those pieces in between the clean lines of the logo. #Lego #StarWars

Jason St-Cyr @jasonstcyr.com · 09/06/2026
Each letter also had tiny little things hidden inside… colourful pieces, interesting shapes, and in the “T” there are even some hidden ships that you can expose by lifting the top of the “T” off. #Lego #StarWars

Jason St-Cyr @jasonstcyr.com · 09/06/2026
This build didn’t take very long to do, just a few hours over a weekend, but it was fun to put all the hidden little details in. There was a lot of attention paid in the instructions to making it very clear how to build (unlike some sets I’ve done). #Lego #StarWars

Jason St-Cyr @jasonstcyr.com · 09/06/2026
I don’t often take the time to share some of the Lego builds that I’ve done with the kids. Some may have gotten to see my office background when the virtual backgrounds are off and know that I have a few sets behind me. A new one was added a few weeks ago: the Star Wars logo! #Lego #StarWars

I was today years old when I learned that hitting Control + Backspace would delete entire words. And it's not even new. It's been there practically forever. I am ashamed. And yes, Ctrl+Delete apparently also does entire words, which I also learned today, and am also ashamed to have not known.

I'm curious as to how others are tackling this issue: How do we get AI users to know that AI is giving them garbage? If you have years of experience dealing with misinformation (and a head full of actual true facts) there's a bit of "spidey-sense" that allows you to notice that something is off....

Going strong either way seems tough... there are moments where the Oxford comma truly delivers the juice!
A visual depiction of impact of an Oxford comma. On the left is a picture of four figures: one balancing on a ball, one dressed as a clown, a person with a ponytail, and a person in a bluet t-shirt. Above this image is the text "Come meet Janet, a clown, and an acrobat." Below the image it reads "With Oxford Comma".

On the right are two figures: the same person with a blue shirt and a second figure with long hair dressed as a clown balancing on a ball. Above the image reads "Come meet Janet, a clown and an acrobat". Below it reads "Without Oxford Comma".

The implication from the image is that Emily is wrong about Oxford commas and should be ashamed :P
