New evidence reveals that the ill-fated French detachment commanded by Ensign de Joumonville was actually at the rocky glen on a photo shoot for a Mountain Dew ad campaign. The few shots that made it back to Québec were locked away never to be seen again... until now.

And with this, I'm finished testing the bounds of OpenAI. It was fun, but more frustrating than its worth. Absolutely not worth boiling the planet over and certainly not for anything serious. Will reveal the stupid thing I made presently.
General Thomas Gage leaves Mike's Pastry in the North End with a box of cannoli before departing Boston after turning command over to General William Howe.

Almost finished with this AI nonsense... John André in his Knight of the Blended Rose kit makes a quick stop at Termini Brothers to pick up his order of cheesecakes before kicking off the Mischianza in Philadelphia, May 18, 1778 (not coolourised).

"Create an image in the style of a simple coloring book of George Washington throwing pizzas to starving Continental soldiers on a Revolutionary War battlefield. Add General Sir William Howe in the background looking on in disapproval."

THE KING IS SO HAPPY HE'S OFF HIS POTATOE DIET From the Morning Post and Daily Advertiser, September 4, 1777.
Administration never had more serene countenances than at present, - they are entirely at ease about the interference of the house of Bourbon in the American rebellion, and their advices and prospects from America satisfy them entirely. A certain Great Person’s spirits are so raised, that he has just let off his potatoe diet.

Today in 1776, Admiral Lord Howe and General Howe led a masterclass in 18th century British amphibious operations in the East River. It would have been an amazing sight to see, especially the initial bombardment from the frigates to clear the way for the landing along Kip's Bay.

HOT TAKE: Today in 1776 the lessons learned in 1758, 1759, and 1762 were on full display in Gravesend bay, as the two leading practitioners of amphibious operations opened the New York campaign with a masterstroke landing. I wish I could have seen it and the other landing less than a month later.
