Finishing up this robo-beaver. A Kickstarter commission I need to bring to @terrificon_ct this weekend for one of our backers. I've been asked to start my commission list early this year, so if you'd like to get in an early request, send me a message and we can get set up.

Less than a week left on our Kickstarter. Thank you all for the support!

I wish there was an easy way to host a webcomic on something like Squarespace or Wix. I can't go back to caring for a Wordpress site again.

A few opportunities have been sneaking up on me lately. A lot of it is from people recommending me for work. Always appreciative for that help.

Franco and I have this interstellar adventure graphic novel coming out this year. The Kickstarter for the project is funded and the print files are on their way to the printer already! I'm so excited to see it in print. Now we just need to unlock that last stretch goal.

Interior art from the graphic novel, Extra Terrestrials by Franco and Jason May.

Yesterday we unlocked our third stretch goal! Thank you everyone who backed the project. We'll be able to print more books.

It's been a while since I have painted, but after getting warmed up I have a nice pile of watercolors to bring to Terrificon with me! See you there! I had a great time with these and all of the others.

If you are near Portland ME! Kids Con is a great family event. There are so many friendly creative people at this event. It's always a great time.

Disappointed that Star Wars Hunters will be shutting down it's servers in October. I have had a lot of fun playing multiplayer with my kids. It has only been online for just over a year.

After hitting a paywall a few times searching for shows, I'm done with whatever I was trying to find. I'd rather just unplug and do something tangible. The internet is getting increasingly lame. Yet here I am. Lol

I'm a heavy handed digital artist. Does anyone have a suggestion for a top notch palm rejection glove? The one that came with my Huion Studio barely works when I'm careful. Also, I have fairly large hands.

Also, a long time ago I was asked to try out for a TMNT book. I wish this came to fruition. It would have been VERY cool and a dream come true.

I use Stickerapp for stickers. What do the rest of you use?

I finished a five page project last month and I can't wait for it to be announced. I'm finishing up flatting a big graphic novel project and am half way done coloring another comic book. I'm looking forward to working on some new projects. It's been a busy few months. What are you working on?

Happy Easter from Duncan! I think I'll take my scooter for a ride today. Maybe I'll find some eggs.

Kid's Con tha weekend! I've been pretty quiet on social media. There's a lot happening. Hopefully I'll see lots of comic folks this weekend.

Well, Nintendo priced me out of their next gen. Anyone else?

This guy doesn't make it up north too often. See him while you can! I'm looking forward to catching up with Chris!

I accidently left TikTok running with a video of ferrets drinking from a spill-proof bowl for way too long. I feel I may have ruined my algorithm...

My graphic novel, Bags and Bots, is now only available through my website. I removed it from distribution in fear of printing prices, and to keep my profits from corporations. If you'd like to support this human's art, I hope to increase the offerings soon. www.jasonmay.com

I spent the day snowboarding with the kids yesterday. I just woke up and thought today was Monday. I'm happy to report that I was wrong.

Cannot wait to get my editor's approval for my project so I can continue on the art. I'll be flatting my secret project while I wait. Here is an old shot of my studio wall, since I can't share my current projects. What part of this wall do you dig? I'll go first - the watercolor mixing chart.

Anyone dealing with book printing costs yet?

If you haven't checked out John's series, you should. It is a great all ages series.

Inking some pages from a secret project tonight and then moving on to flatting another project. Grateful for the work. Unfortunately, I have no time today to post a pic of an old secret project, but here is a thumbnail from Time Travelling Duos. I think this was eight years ago. 🤯

Book looks great! I pledged and look forward to seeing my hardcover. If you like comics, sci-fi, and mental health awareness, this is the book for you. Also, somewhere among all of this awesomeness resides a pinup drawn by me 😁.

Thank you to everyone that sends me pics of their kids reading my books. It's super fun!

Three years ago I was working on the art for LEGO Brick or Treat and I got to choose some characters.

Have you ever re-written something so many times that it just sounds like gibberish to you?

Jason May @jasonmayart.bsky.social · 15/02/2025

I just supported this Kickstarter! Kevin has been talking about making this book for so long and I have known him for quite some time! There's also a pinup somewhere in here that I had a lot of fun drawing 😁

Taking a break from flatting a book I can't talk about and working on some pencils for a story I can't talk about yet. So, here's another picture of something I couldn't talk about a while ago, that I never posted. I received this Max figure way back when I was drawing the comic for LEGO Club

Unfortunately, Revolutionary Comic Fest has been cancelled, so i obviously won't be attending. I'm hoping it comes back next year and I can be a guest again. Maybe I'll do something special on March 22 like take online commissions.

Good morning. I'll be flatting more graphic novel pages today. As usual, I can't talk about it yet, but here's a lost treasure that I never posted to make up for it. From the early days of creating my graphic novel, Bags and Bots. At the time it was called Robotic Madness.
