Taylor says there are “good immigrants and bad immigrants”. What he meant was, Australia has good politicians - who do what’s right for the community - and bad politicians - those who use hatred and division to rule for billionaires. On election beats, instead of just amplifying Dutton’s talking points like stenographers how about media actually do some watchdog journalism (the whole notional point of their jobs) and ask Dutton specifically what he thinks of Trump’s agenda so far and whether he is trying to emulate it?
