the petra parker comic I was working on. it turns out that writing something this personal is very difficult when you're already depressed, so I've decided to just abandon it and post what I had of it. read the alt text for an explanation of panel 4 #art #digitalart #petraparker

unfinished 4-panel comic of petra parker.
PANEL 1: She's in a hotel room on a bed with Jameson standing in the doorway, facing away from her. She is, notably, in her spider-suit, maskless, with a dejected and defeated look on her face. Jonah says: "This hotel should keep you and your aunt comfortable and away from prying eyes. If you need anything, my place isn't far away... Just give me a call." Petra replies "Thanks, Jonah..." Jameson then says "Hey, uh... Listen, Parker... Petra..."
PANEL 2: Closeup on Jameson's face looking over his shoulder in the doorway. he is drawn in a bluish grey monochrome with harsh angles meant to give some insight into Petra's state of mind and how she sees other people right now. Despite this, he has a soft and concerned expression on his face, and talks as if he were speaking in a gentle tone. He speaks: "I'm sorry about the hell I've given you... if I'd known it was... Well, what's important is that you and your aunt are safe. And... Parker... before I go... I think you've grown into a beautiful young lady. Don't let those creeps keep you down.
PANEL 3: Extremely unfinished sketch of Petra now laying flat on the bed. She looks over with a confident but tired smirk in the direction Jonah is supposedly standing off-camera, and says "I'm fine, JJ. It's nothing I can't handle." He replies "Alright, but... I'm worried about you, kid. Stay sharp."
PANEL 4: A very unfinished closeup of Petra's face, presumably after Jonah's left. Her eyes are even more tired than the previous panel, and there is a large net of "LOREM IPSUM" text covering her face. Originally, the Lorem Ipsum text was meant to be a long news report about how Spider-Man's identity was leaked to the public following some anonymous investigators, connected with her transition as she was becoming a danger to the public, yada yada, transphobic nonsense. The impact of her secret identity being leaked over her gender clearly eats at her like nothing she's ever experienced

I thought about this scenario last night and how cute this interaction would be between the two both working for Jameson. I also wanted to show that Eda isn't always bullying Petra. #petraparker #edabrock #spider-woman #venom #trans #fanart

A full comic page of a mishap between Petra Parker, Eda Brock, and Jonah Jameson at the Daily Bugle. Eda accidently gave Jonah the SD card that she keeps to herself of cute pictures of Petra.
