Please sub in Bronnik for Musovski

Really hoping Bronnik gets to play tonight!

We need Ben to run for Ron Johnson's seat.

Sounders win! And no new injuries that we know about!

The fields director at Starfire Sports, a beloved soccer complex outside Seattle that's hosted many US Open Cup matches over the decades, has been snatched up by ICE. Please consider helping him and his family if you are able.

Do you think we'll get to see Bronnik with Dejan out on international duty?

Jason Gacek @jasongacek.bsky.social · 20/09/2026

Caden Clark and Jordan Morris have scored the same number of goals for the Sounders this season.

Dan Osborn seems pretty great to me.

NYCFC vs. RBNY tonight on TV starting at 4:30 PT. MLS should play more Friday night and Saturday afternoon games, in my opinion.

Jason Gacek @jasongacek.bsky.social · 15/09/2026

And it's a crime it got so little (relative) attention on the actual telecast.

000

Jason Gacek @jasongacek.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

It is not. Just found it on BTN2 though. Lots of people will not be able to find it on channel 1315. Big Ten is a joke.

Jason Gacek @jasongacek.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

Washington vs Utah State is not on TV in Washington. We're getting Michigan State vs. Eastern Michigan. I hate the Big Ten conference.

Most unfair ending I can remember in college football.

MLS has no games today before 7:30 ET. That is not how I would design the Saturday schedule.

Jason Gacek @jasongacek.bsky.social · 04/09/2026

Trump's foreign policy is making MLS worse.

Jason Gacek @jasongacek.bsky.social · 02/09/2026

Yeah, I feel we're lucky we got two, but I really wish we got three. Can't wait to see what Conrad does next.

Patriot is fantastic. Highly recommended.

MLS should play more Saturday day games in my opinion.

I think Troy is going to win this.

We are a broken nation. Hundreds of thousands of Haitians were living and working legally, paying taxes, and contributing. Haiti remains wholly unsafe. But Trump hates Haitians, and the White House wanted videos of Black people in chains, so they stripped them of status and turned on the cameras.

Haiti TPS has been TERMINATED.
Those with terminated TPS are in our nation Illegally. They have two options: LEAVE IMMEDIATELY or be DEPORTED.

Underneath is a screenshot of a video showing two Haitian men in chains being led to the aircraft. I didn’t post the video, but it’s vile.

Yeah, a better word would be "stole."

Jason Gacek @jasongacek.bsky.social · 25/08/2026

Sure, but why not give him a cameo? Several other Defiance guys got to see game action.

000

Jason Gacek @jasongacek.bsky.social · 25/08/2026

I don't understand why several Defiance players got to see MLS or Leagues Cup action, but Bronnik never got into a game. Musovski and de Rosario have just not been able to score goals this year.

Not so fast. Today’s SCOTUS decision does NOT deal with the substance of Trump’s unconstitutional Executive Order and does not mean his illegal attempt to restrict mail-in voting will go forward.

Please don't overreact to Roberts Court decision on the contemplated USPS ballot moves They simply held that the injunction came too early in the process, before there was a final rule👇 Now we HAVE a final rule & we will litigate it. I'm as confident in our arguments here as in any of our cases!

The failure of states to comply with this totally illegal and unconstitutional (whatever SCOTUS says) order will be used as legal grounds for denying the seating of "contested" Dems in the next Congress in order to maintain GOP control. Don't know how exactly, but SCOTUS clearly won't stop it.

I will never understand why the Sounders gave away Reed Baker-Whiting. We could have used him today!

Jason Gacek @jasongacek.bsky.social · 22/08/2026

With all the injuries and all the games, I get it. But this is Tacoma Defiance playing F.C. Cincinnati.

010

Jason Gacek @jasongacek.bsky.social · 22/08/2026

That's a lot! I imagine Peter Mallouk will be one of the owners pushing for MLS to raise the salary cap and allow teams to spend more on their rosters. I also imagine Adrian Hanauer will be one of the owners pushing to allow teams to spend as little as possible.

Jason Gacek @jasongacek.bsky.social · 20/08/2026

I still don't understand why we can't/won't bring up Mark Bronnik.

Jason Gacek @jasongacek.bsky.social · 20/08/2026

She's still better than Tuberville or Ron Johnson.

China is completely outplaying the American car industry. America’s cheapest EV, the 2027 Chevrolet Bolt, starts at $28,995; that’s $13,000 more than China’s new BYD at $16,000.
