I genuinely believe if we had the majority of citizens voting we would see the cream rise to the top in our elections. I do not wish for this country to make voting a requirement. However, it should not be a difficult challenge in properly incentivizing the masses to vote. I wish we would do that.

I didn’t think I was associating FDR with socialism. He & his policies were a reaction to what was happening in his era. When we get a new FDR, it will be a reaction to this era. Changes will always be dubbed “socialism” when they favor the masses. It’s the only way opposition can attack it.

Why don’t we just concede everything was Biden’s fault. Don’t even debate it with them. Shift the conversation to “Obviously it was Biden, but Trump & the Republicans have the wheel now. What are they doing to improve things?” Then everything that follows can be spotlighting Trumps mishaps.

I’m all for the Dems building into their agenda us paying down the debt. How we do that is the selling point. Are we going to tax the rich? Because that alone would solve the issue over time. Also has the built in advantage of being overwhelmingly popular. Something I could get on board with.
