Good for him. There's no reason that people who struggle with weight shouldn't take advantage of every medical breakthrough they can to be healthy. So many people are on GLP-1s, there should be no shame about it.

I understand this is a technically difficult problem to solve, but it makes setting up a new phone a miserable experience. Even simple apps like Yahoo Finance, where data was stored locally in a non-logged-in state, failed to transfer. #GooglePixel11

Well, the Android phone migration process is still as bad as it was two years ago. 😕 You still have to re-log in with every single app, which, for some credit card & banking apps, means getting out your driver's license and doing all kinds of authentication. #GooglePixel11

Antenna and modem improvements to help improve data and voice performance when in a weak network area (which is all three carriers where I live). Now that would be a real quality-of-life improvement for me because Xfinity goes down often here. 🫤

I wasn't advocating for the obsolescence of Intel binaries, more that as an M-Series user they're taking up needless space on my machine. But expecting users to know which version of an app they need isn't realistic. So this is the way it goes for now.

Music services need to take AI music seriously and offer customers the ability to filter out and block AI slop. There's a lot I like about generative AI, but I want to listen to humans making music, not software. #YouTubeMusic offers no way for me to block AI artists, or even down-vote songs. 🫤

Nice! I've been pondering an Ultra myself. I have a Mac Studio M1 Max right now and it's great, though starting to show its age when I am editing 40MP raw images. I also use Topaz software and it's sloooow on the M1 Max. I'd hoped the Ultra's GPU cores would mean more speed, but research says nope.

Interesting! I guess it's "only" been five years since the last Intel MacBook shipped...that just feels like an eternity in the tech world. It feels like a long time for me since 2016 was my first and last Intel MacBook, then 2021 was my first M1 MacBook.

It's bizarre to me that most macOS developers still bundle x86 (Intel) versions of their software; they take up a lot of storage space for no good reason. Is this a default for Xcode, to bundle both? Or some kind of outdated best practice? Seems unnecessary to me in 2026. #macdeveloper #macos

I can't find any public data about how much storage space average Apple TV owners use on their devices; I checked my home office 128GB Apple TV and across all apps it's less than 2 GB. The opportunity here? An Apple TV Mini that's an HDMI-direct connect device with 16 GB of storage for $99. 🔥
