Going with some volcanic Carnotaurus vibes on this smoky Thursday! #dinosaur #illustration

Started doodling a simple version of a Carnotaurus...then just kept on doodling! As a kid, dinos were my usual go-to sketch. I love drawing them...always have, always will! What's your usual 'go-to' sketch? #dinosaurs #carnotaurus #dino #jurassicpark #illustration #illustrator #kidlitart

Turns out dinosaur warm-up sketches are a great way to kick off a Thursday! Who knew? PACHYCEPHALOSAURUS likely did not need a hockey helmet. Can you guess the other type of dinosaur I sketched? #dinosaur #hockey #sketch #illustrations

If someone had told 9 year old me that someday he'd be illustrating dragons for work, he would have fainted (the good kind of fainting). Excited for this new book project! Launches this fall. Stay tuned! #dragon #dragons #illustration #illustrator #kidlitart #kidlitillustration #kidlitartpostcard

Sharing just a few illustrations I did for the NH Humanities presentation "Using NH Folk Tales as an Avenue to Local History and Culture". I was given several local county folktales to illustrate and develop into a large map of New Hampshire. This was SUCH a fun project! #history #nh #illustration

"Barry 'bearly' knew what to do...he couldn't bear not having an apple. Then, he got a 'beary' good idea." Another silly character solving the age-old "How-do-I-get-that-apple" question. #bear #characterdesign #kidlitartpostcard #kidlit #arttutorial #Procreate #illustrator #illustration

FINALLY able share a project I've been working on since last fall! I had the honor of illustrating 12 of the popular BGMC Trading Cards (Gen 2 RoR "J.McIntosh" Series). Here's a quick process vid of the'Wendell' character vs. how the actual cards look @ the end. #procreateart #characters

When I create characters, I make 'reference sheets' to ensure my consistency from page to page. Q: "How do I build a pig?" A: "Fill a barrel with teardrops and triangles". #piglet #characterdesign #kidlitartpostcard #kidlit #artprocess #amquerying #arttutorial #drawingoftheday #draw
