Time for my #eurofurence loot pile. "Oh, this was also supposed to be in there" additions for the past 24 hours. I think this is as good as it gets for now. And I need somewhere to sit while I eat, so things will start to move to the walls 😁 Had an amazing time. Looking forward next year. ♥️

Could this be my EF art show setup this year? More likely than you think. Even got a token non-feline in there!

Things did, in fact, not burst into flames.

The sun in the process of being occluded by the Moon. It's about 40% covered, with some sunspots visible on the surface. Proving once more the Sun is cheetah-coded.

I've had this foil since April 2025 because I had originally planned to be in Spain when the eclipse tomorrow happens. Didn't go, but the Sun is still eclipsing, so I built myself a sun filter using sun-blocking photography foil and a leftover UV filter. Please don't set my camera on fire, thx.

The always lovely @bubblewolf.bsky.social gifted me a wonderful piece of art for my birthday today. 😁 It may or may not be referring to the fact that for some reason my brain seems to always draw my gaze towards spelling mistakes… Thank you so much for this, friend, I keep smiling like an idiot. ♥️

The second panel shows the card open, with a personal happy birthday message: "Happy birthday Jas! Hope you have an amazng day with all the food waow, best wishes, Bub"
The next frame is a closeup of the eyes and some sweat as if something terrible was in the card. The fourth frame zooms in on the spelling mistake "amazng". The last panel shows me looking sad at having found the spelling mistake, going "T...thanks Bubs"

For years, most of the RAM in my NAS wasn't used, maybe 4-5 GB. Then I started self-hosting stuff (not even just Docker images, but those sure are hungry). Glad I went with 16 which was way oversized for what I had originally intended it for :D

Om. Nom. Nom. Fun fact: Big cats (yes, I know, puma = small cat, but big) do not have the kinds of incisors in their teeth that you yourself have! So if something needs to be chewed off, you'll see them do that "sideways". Or just rip things off. Either works, really. #photography #puma #cougar
