The first one is easily the best he did but I personally wouldn’t call him a horrible director as he’s done some good films and their is a lot worse than Bay, I think he can make good films again but it’s probably unlikely.

I don’t think it makes a difference either way personally, sure doom could have been in F4 and probably should have been but for whatever reason he just wasn’t and that post credit scene was just a scene lifted from Doomsday like the Thunderbolts* one was.

Just because it’s an Avengers movie doesn’t mean the villain needs building up, every other villain come out of the blue and nobody has a problem with that and like I’ve said I believe the main threat is the multiverses breaking/incursions and Doom will probably end up using those to his advantage.

They did not build up IW for 10 years, Thanos did nothing but sit in a chair and got a bit to do in GoTG vol 1, all of Thanos characterisation was done in IW. Also the multiverse breaking the universes has been the stake in the MCU after endgame because it’s been happening in multiple projects.

I watched it in the basic cinema viewing today and it didn’t cut anything off that I noticed and didn’t ruin my enjoyment either but if you want to wait it’s entirely up to you but I personally don’t think theirs anything wrong with the standard viewing.
