"Trump" baby bonds are useless. The government deposits $1,000. Then parents are expected to invest $5,000 each year for 18 years = $90,000 Parents who can afford to invest $5,000 each year don't need the $1,000. Those who can't will see only $3,379 by 2043. There are better ways to help people.
