There’s a few dozen Phillies in Cooperstown, but only one named to Japan’s Baseball Hall of Fame. Had to pay my respects to Lefty while visiting.

New week, old scorecard! This slightly trippy 1952 scorecard comes from the St. Louis Browns and features a grinning mascot soon to be known as Brownie. Sadly, Brownie had little to smile about: the Browns decamped for Baltimore just a few years later.
