Good that you called your local police, gives you confirmation that there is nothing behind it except someone trying to scam you. If they ever do get you on the phone again you can confidently say you already have the police informed and looking into things, and then hang up. Hope you sleep ok.

So maddening that on top of everything else we have ro worry about these types of criminals. I think our usual good instincts are undermined by all the lying going on. I hope you can shake the aftereffects from the encounter soon. And phone numbers can be scammed to look local🙄😠

So my disconnect, or at least one, in the religion I grew up in- "She/he/them are looking down at you from Heaven and will look after you", young adult dies- "a blessing his mother/father/etc. didn't live to see this". But.. you just said? *Everyone walks away from me.*🤷‍♀️

I am ready to go to sleep and there's not a cat to be found. Two cats live with us, usually at least one is in my room when I am ready to go to sleep. It is a concerning dereliction of duty and very clear evidence I need another cat to come live with us. #Cats

A couple months ago I made tuna noodle casserole like I remember as a kid, it was good!😄 I had a random can of cream of mushroom soup so I thought, why not. I really thought I was going to say "bleh" how did I like that?😂

Where I live the Dahlia tubers have to be dug up and stored over winter, I did for a few years, but I am not really set up for it. They are beautiful blooms. These were from one of my best years with them.

Love them, had for years and then poof, they disappeared. I planted new bare roots that came up but not in time to flower. Hope they come back next spring. Similar, IMO, are blackberry lilies. The blooms are lovely and the seed heads, understandably, look like blackberries.

Besides a great tomato crop, the jalapeños did the best, no idea why I planted six, I think I got at Lidle and they were cheap. I pickled some, sliced, gave away a bunch- surprising how few people like heat- and will roast the rest with cream cheese filling this weekend as a treat for company.

The pros and cons of public transit vs personal car. I grew up with walking and public transit the only options, but where I live now has a pretty bad public transit system. If I move at some point, walkability and a good public transit system will be a factor.
