An Evangelion fanart illustration of Eva Unit 01's head forming as the AT field out of the core. Within the core is Adam staring out. The Eva head is riddled with holes that show the repeating AT Field Pattern, and from the chasms myriad eyes and red veins are clustered. The red veins reach out of the head itself to form the leaf veins of a giant red fig leaf, with the Eva head at it's center. The title, 'And The Eyes Of Them Both' comes from the verse: "And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked, and they sewed fig leaves together, and made for themselves aprons." Genesis 3:7

Comics writers, if you END a balloon with a ellipsis, and the idea continues into a 2nd balloon, it's standard practice amongst almost all mainstream publishers to BEGIN the 2nd balloon with an ellipsis. Same goes for double dashes. (I end up correcting a million of these.)
