Keith Michon @janusstone.bsky.social · 07/10/2026"historically tied" does not mean he authorized the camps and that he is a war criminal. Please dude you're grasping at straws. I sent you info that says military leaders in those regions created those camps while the Civil War was raging. If you respond again, I will have to block you. 010
Keith Michon @janusstone.bsky.social · 07/10/2026I'm more concerned about the national D machinery having a platform that energizes eligible, but unregistered voters to both register and vote Democrat. In 2024, 89 million eligible, but unregistered voters sat it out. Why? George Carlin & Norm Chomsky: "we have the illusion of choice" ✌️ 000
Keith Michon @janusstone.bsky.social · 07/10/2026And lastly the attached. I ask direct questions to perform my searches. I am not minimizing what the USA did to Native Americans. Some of the carnage is in my novel "Shiloh". Lincoln governed during the most trying time in our history and he paid the ultimate price for it. 000
Keith Michon @janusstone.bsky.social · 07/10/2026Let me know when you tie that to Lincoln. I bluntly asked Google if Lincoln is considered a war criminal and the answer was no. That is your initial assertion: that all presidents are war criminals. Just because he was president is not always a smoking gun, especially when the Civil War is going on. 100
Keith Michon @janusstone.bsky.social · 07/10/2026A quick Google search brings up the attached which again doesn't support your position(s). I also asked if he was considered a war criminal. The answer isn't an obvious yes. I wrote a book about the Civil War and it was a very difficult time, especially near the end. Let's just leave it at that. 100
Keith Michon @janusstone.bsky.social · 07/10/2026It started in the early 70s, Rs slowly pulling back on FDR's aggressive tax code that was approved by Congress and ultimately left alone by a corrupt SCOTUS after he threatened to pack the court. Ronald Reagan ramped up efforts to help the billionaires which has continued to this day. 000
Keith Michon @janusstone.bsky.social · 07/10/2026It's more than just turnout. It's also getting some of the 89 million unregistered but eligible voters who sat out the 2024 Election off the sidelines. There were a variety of reasons for the disinterest, one being lack of messaging by the national D machinery. Unfortunately, that hasn't changed... 000
Keith Michon @janusstone.bsky.social · 07/10/2026I'm not saying Lincoln was perfect. But to say that the 'Dakota war' as they call it, which was really an understandable angry uprising due to mistreatment, hunger, nonpayment, and famine, is not at all obvious that represented war crimes that Lincoln was actively involved in or authorized. 👍 2+ 200
Keith Michon @janusstone.bsky.social · 07/10/2026commuted the sentences of 264 others. He wasn't president when the treaty was signed in 1851. Research shows that what happened to the Dakotas was likely other government corruption due to nonpayment while Lincoln was focusing on the Civil War. There was also a famine in 1861. 2/2+ 100
Keith Michon @janusstone.bsky.social · 07/10/2026The funny thing about research is that you have not only do it but read what you find. Additional research will confirm that Lincoln personally reviewed all the cases (also in what you sent me). He only approved the hanging of 39 that included rape and other heinous crimes. He 1/2 100
Keith Michon @janusstone.bsky.social · 07/10/2026Yes. Yes, he is. So are almost all of the former presidents... 010
Keith Michon @janusstone.bsky.social · 07/10/2026Unfortunately, there is a lot of truth to that. Certainly ever since the military industrial complex took control of things.... Was Abraham Lincoln a war criminal? That's a tough one. 200

Keith Michon @janusstone.bsky.social · 07/10/2026A lot of "poster board" posts and memes sound very inviting or even sound (like you said) like something someone would have said. Keith Michon @janusstone.bsky.social · 07/10/2026in 2016 & 2024 than didn't. That's a fact. Trump as President is making things worse. That's all I meant. I followed up with a comment that rape is horrible. You don't know me and vice versa. Please don't try to put words in my mouth. As for your second paragraph, don't know what you are saying 2/2 100
Keith Michon @janusstone.bsky.social · 07/10/2026With all due respect, I don't think I am missing "the point." I did not address the issue of rape. Instead, I was only focusing on women "taking care of things." I'm seeing more and more of that phrase lately which is fine. I just pointed out that more white women have voted for Trump 1/2 100

Watch some George Carlin stand-up routines on politics and related social class manipulation later in his life. He had close to a genius level IQ I've been saying for years that the national D machinery needs to adopt an FDR type platform. Yet they won't. 130
