It's amazing and at the same time painful to be an early backer. You get the game but you know that you shouldn't play it much because the story is yet to be made and it will take a while to get to the 1.0 release. #AlabasterDawn

Yes it was a bit of a trouble. I'm still not 100% sure if it's correctly routed.

If you are considering to buy a AAA game for 80$ then don't do it and instead try to find some smal indie games. They 4 times more fun and the devs actually care about good gameplay instead of stupid PR and DLCs. My personal recommendation is Cross-Code and Alabaster Dawn by @radicalfishgames.com.

Our game decides what color everything is by dynamically indexing into a palette based on the red-channel at run time, split evenly into 4 segments. I just noticed the colors we use for drawing stuff isn't evenly distributed, which MOST of the time has no impact

Like now modern studios just fade in their back and white logo keep it there for a second and then fade it back out. That's just sk boring and unoriginal.

I miss the "Our studio has cool logo" era of games and movies. Like do you remember Unreal engine 3 intro? It was so cool seeing these companies compete in who has the best intro. EA has like 40 different intros for games they released around 2000s.

I decided separate my blog and portfolio into 2 sites and 2 CMS systems. My main site still runs on my favorite #kirbycms and my blog now runs on very lightweight CMS called "W". Main reason is that I wanted a extremely simple way to make posts. I will soon publish a post explaining it in detail.

you should add an option that intentionally breaks rendering on picotron by for example pressing a specific button combination. Kinda like an easter egg.

So nice of them to provide their users with choice 🙃
Meme showing Microsoft Edge's message where they suggest to use recommended browser settings. It says:

"Microsoft Edge helps you stay protected while you browse by blocking phishing and malware attacks. Set Microsoft Edge as your default browser. Confirm/ Set Later"

Below, there's a comic strip from "The Abstruse Goose" showing a cow in front of a gate, with two corridors leading up to it. One reads "confirm" the other "set later".

I finally figured out the power of @vivaldi.com workspaces. They are persistent and they keep any media in them playing even when not selected. Basically imagine like you have 4 browser windows but they are all in one window instead of 4 and you can freely switch between them. I must recommend them.

I would like to point out the immense effort the animation and engine teams behind Project DIVA put into the animation engine. It really makes you wonder how much was spent developing the actual rhythm game compared to the real-time rendering engine that powers the background animations.

Adobe making a great example that using proprietary software anywhere in your development is a massive liability, even if you fork over buckets of money. Why should people invest time and money learning your software if you just do this with no recourse.

After the newest update, the "Multi tab suggestion" feature. (That one that suggests what to do with lots of tabs from same site)

Jan Palma @janpalma.cz · 22/09/2025
Yes tried them all. The one I like for horizontal tabs are the two level ones. But I'm personally missing a tree / dropdown style for vertical tabs.

Jan Palma @janpalma.cz · 21/09/2025
That's how I would like it but in this screenshot vivaldi actually uses the actuall tabs view not the Window view. But This is also a good way to do it.

Great! I would love to use side tabs but I dont like how the tab stacks behave in that mode. Could you add an option to show the tab stacks like a tree. Example: - Tab - Tab - Stack - Tab - Tab - Tab
