Not that it can't be both, but we could just stop paying for all this sprawl infrastructure. But we would need the LVT first to free up access to urban land, otherwise we would just be cutting off the people who have been displaced to the exurbs. (2 of 2)

Many Georgist shibboleths throughout without explicitly using the term Georgist/Georgism and Public Banking is certainly looking to be the modern day iteration of Georgist monetary policy (commonly understood to be the gold half of the Georgist shield/Chevron).

2 things Democrats haven't leaned into: 1. Republicans have QUORUM even without the Democrats. Business can still be conducted, even if the things which require "61" might not get passed. 2. Anyone still getting paid should be showing up to work. Make ARTICLE V CONVENTIONs a shutdown tradition.

George himself wrote about interest, monetary policy, and many other macroeconomic concepts. After Progress & Poverty, he wrote several other books. One of them was Protection & Free Trade. Another one was The Science of Political Economy, which was unfinished and published after George died.

Georgism is more than the LVT. Georgists seek to examine all government-granted privileges and weigh their positive and negative impacts on the communities they are implemented in and their net effect.
