Just saying, so many of you in the Sonic fandom sleep hard on Rough and Tumble. The skunk bros have been around since issue 3 and are probably some of the most consistent characters writing wise in the comics! Now that Tangle, Whisper, Surge, and Kit are getting love, how about them next!

Wanted to get another thing of Nite and Don from the Sonic comics! Partially inspired by another thing I got from the same artist! He loves doing very graffiti like stuff and lots of colors and patterns so here it is! Art by @tompossum.bsky.social

Illustration of Rough and Tumble, the skunk brothers from the IDW comics. Rough is on the left, one fist pumped up, with the other he points to the ground. Tumble beats his chest with his fist whilst the other is balled up.

Honestly, Rough and Tumble should get a mini series like these dudes got. They're basically already inspired by Bebop and Rocksteady in general. Just the two bumbling around and getting into crazy ass misadventures or something. I think it'd really work for the Sonic comics tbh

Now that IDW characters are finally getting a lot more mainstream spotlight in the games, I wanna rep these two even more! Rough and Tumble get literally no recognition from fans. I've seen fanart and merch for pretty much every other comic character. But almost zero for them.

We need Rough & Tumble in the games. We need more reoccurring bad guys who can just show up for fun boss fights, then exit the story. I love Metal Sonic, but it can’t just be him every time.
