It’s as bad as this stupid idea.

I didn’t know so much had been nationalised. Media refuse to cover anything positive the government are doing. BBC too busy promoting Reform. Does it get anymore blatant than this?

These changes will impact heavily on some Motability users. Excess mileage to increase from 5p to 25p per mile. Those who rely on the scheme the most could see large bills at the end of their lease to be paid from their benefit payments. Those who need their car to attend daycare etc

They let the prison system fall into complete and utter disarray.

‘Windmills’ or this. I know what I’d rather have. Farage would have us return to this.

He’s now the Cabinet Member for Children and Family Services for Leicestershire County Council! Massive budget and responsibilities. He’s going to be busy fitting this around his ongoing degree course in computer Science.

Some scrutiny needed here. Reform appoint Joseph Boam (23) deputy leader and member for Adult Social Care. His views on depression for one don’t bode well. And uni student Charles Pugsley (19) member for Children’s Services. Massive budgets and responsibilities.

Reminds me of my late brother in law. He carried his oxygen around in a tatty Waitrose bag. Got a nice hessian bag for my niece’s wedding but no he was having none of it. Here he is with my other niece and of course the Waitrose bag.

Sadly there are people here who think he’s doing a good job. I hope people around the world will watch and learn but these days so many people are disengaged with world events I’m not holding my breath. On another note we’ve had some lovely weather up north recently. It’s been a welcome relief.

At last a lovely warm spring day. Perfect for my bike ride. Sunshine, blue skies and beautiful crocuses.

Another grey cold week ahead. Feel like I shouldn’t complain as it’s not too wet or windy but I’m now craving some sun and just a little bit of heat.

Think we’ve been lucky here and escaped the storm. Bit breezy and some rain. River is in the fields. Coffee time

Thanks for the link. I’ll have a look at this. Planning to progress my family tree when I retire next year. Photo of Leadgate school 1928 from the book I mentioned by Brian Edge. My mam third from left bottom row.
