A gorgeous shot in warm yellow tones over a high nature scene with rising cliffs enclosing the picture with twin waterfalls that face each other. Mist rises up below in the open space that is wrapped around by a winding road that starts on the left, with a traveler standing by looking towards the horizon.

I ordered a different Matchalia flavor but I think the cosplay color scheme rewired the barista’s memory to this one instead lolol. It was lovely to see people excited about a character from an older game, plus the reception at that fun Tales panel I had to leave early was great 🥺 Tyvm guys!!!

🏕️ CONTRIBUTOR SPOTLIGHT: Sophyret 🍎 Today we are celebrating sophyret, who's here to inject some jazz and fun with her expressive and lively style! 🍛✌️ Be sure to keep an eye out for her illustdation of a certain rosy-haired genius... 🫣

An illustration of two characters half submerged in clear, light blue waters with autumn foliage framing the top left in the composition. In the back is a white haired character with blue eyes smiling. He is wearing a light blue caplet adorned with a blueish gem. In the front is a lavender haired character with horns and their hair styled in pigtail braids. They are grinning widely and have a hand raised against their face to shield part of the light.

Let's welcome our first Fic Artist, @vyntuse.bsky.social 🙌 Vyn will be providing illustrations for two of the fics featured, and the mastery she holds over lighting and colours in her compositions will definitely enhance any reading experience 🍹✨️

A brightly lit illustration of Colette from the game Tales of Symphonia smiling at the viewer on a field of wheat against a sky filled with big, fluffy clouds. She is holding her hair back against one ear and her hair is flowing in the wind.

Sharing this beautiful masterpiece from @talesfanzine.bsky.social volume 1 😌🌹 Made with love by @janiforme.bsky.social for all the hunnies out there 😚

A boomer meme featuring Zelos from Tales of Symphonia against a black background. He is offering a stalk of rose towards the viewer with one eye closed. The text on the left reads:

Good Morning
(In cursive from here on) To my life's ROSE (in red)
Your fragrance makes
All of life's thorns
Worth tolerating

My philosophy writing it is: soap opera about difficult people in a messy world. The narrative and gameplay design is centered around understanding the fictional world, plot, and cast.

Jani @janiforme.bsky.social · 15/08/2025

The rest is a result of many things about them and their world. Looking back on it in retrospect makes going to work that day REALLY suck and the things that lead up to it were much bigger and beyond a single person alone.

110

Jani @janiforme.bsky.social · 15/08/2025

The MC and his brother are to meet up with a person of contact stationed down the river. The unfortunate timing of when he worked that day set off a series of events that were near their breaking point prior to the start of the story. It's the only event decided by pure chance in the plot.

Jani @janiforme.bsky.social · 15/08/2025

When he leaves work early, the group with the body makes an attempt on his life. After escaping, that night his dad sends the MC and his brother away before he torches their house and the intruders in it to buy himself time to send a letter and escape.

Jani @janiforme.bsky.social · 15/08/2025

I'm working on that story for a game but I'm making novellas in the mean time for another reason. Tldr of chapter 1, the MC works contractually for a funeral home as a performer. He sees the corpse of someone he doesn't recognize but wasn't supposed to see.

Hi guys, life has been crazy. I would say the trimonthly I’m back but that’s usually a summoning catalyst for a more catastrophic series of events so instead I would like to say I will be here momentarily. Tomorrow, who knows?
