From 2010, when I used to go to the local beach in the off season, a time when horses and dogs are permitted to be there, and take photos. I don't know the name or owner of this handsome horse, but I hope they're still enjoying beach rides together.

A few days later, and they're emerging from hiding. Sammy's coming along much faster and will buzz around my legs when I'm fixing food. Barnaby is still scared but is coming out into the open.

Barnaby feels safer in the cat cave, keeping watch.
