My disgust at the idea that a definitive “repository of all human knowledge & culture” is both desirable *and* possible was exactly why I wrote “Negative Scholarship on the Fifth State of Being.” There are MANY forms of cultures & knowledges beyond the language-based logocentric ones AI captures. +
