That's "until the end of Trump's current term" -- He was sworn in January 2025. And, unless "it happens", the next president will be sworn in January 2029. I think it's until the end of the term because projecting beyond that would be worse, but the phrase "forever war" comes to mind.

Because it avoids discussing things like Gaza, race, gender - either way! - that they did nor did not affect the outcome! By burying it, lessons cannot be learned at all the state, county, precinct organizing levels (where the folks involved in many of the special elections actually work)

Yes! There are so many kinds of cohorts, too. The "rising average tide" doesn't lift all boats equally. And the effects of things like losing food stamps, ACA subsidies, etc. also don't hurt every cohort equally and may get lost in aggregations.

I would greatly prefer that our internal system held Trump accountable, but the world holding us accountable for our actions is still better than Trump running amok. Celebrating the end of senseless bombing - yeah, the new status quo will be worse, but show me the better option that is possible?
