This please. It doesn't have to be elaborate, just hearing "I like this" or "this is so cute" really is nice and makes my day! I don't know how or why people started thinking it was annoying or insincere to give compliments but it's not. Artists like knowing if people resonate with things we make.

Ahri emote done 🖤 I’m so happy with how the hair shading came out, way better than how I was doing it before 🥹 #emoteartist #leagueoflegends #fanart #art

Drawing of Ahri new skin (league of legends character) peeking. Blueish hair with red strands. It should be an emote

Reposting with alt text since this is going around again!

Two panel comic in black and white. In the first panel, a bunny sits in the grass, surrounded by sparkles and flowers, on a white background. The second panel zooms in on the bunny's face and the background is black, with white text handwritten in all caps on it: "TOUCHING GRASS ISN'T ENOUGH, I NEED MONEY"

Signature: SLEEPIMALI (and the year the comic was made, 2023)

People say AI has no business model; but tbh I think part of the business model is getting people so hooked on it by the means of cooking their brains alive, that they then will pay any price to even function in everyday life. Rent your basic life skills.

I don’t care if “AI will soon be the norm”, I don’t care if “we all have to adapt or die”, you won’t convince me to use it in any of my creative roles. Seeing writers use AI generated book and podcast covers, Artists using Chat GPT, creatives using AI voices. That’s an immediate blacklist from me

Ty to anyone that likes my art online cause this is what it feels like 💖🖌️🎨 #art #comic

A 2 panel comic summarizing how it feels to get your art like, commented and shared on a platform. The top panel shows a notification feed of a user liking, sharing and commenting on an artpiece.

Comment: OMG sooo pretty!!! (3 Heart emojis)

Second panel shows personified user admiring the artwork in a frame and talking to the artist with excitement. The panel is full of hearts and sparkles.
