This tree with solar lights always makes me smile. It was a potted Xmas tree we placed at our front door two years ago. My husband then replanted it in our backyard but couldn't be bothered to take down the lights. Now it's festive all year round on sunny days.🌞

Visited the memorial Shoes on the Danube Bank today in Budapest, a bone-chilling reminder of the atrocities of the Holocaust. It honours the Jewish victims who were ordered to remove their shoes before being shot into the river by fascist militants during the winter of 1944/1945.
