Today the UK Government announced a stronger target for reducing PM2.5 #AirPollution, committing to reach interim WHO guidelines by 2030 ✔️🙌 This is great step forward but there's still more to do, as NO2 levels in the country remain 4x higher than WHO guideline levels: bit.ly/4pLEvCt
Graphic quoting Jane Burston, CEO of Clean Air Fund, reading "Bringing forward the UK's particulate matter target is a positive first step, but it falls short without action on toxic nitrogen dioxide. We cannot protect people’s health unless the government tackles all harmful pollutants with the urgency this crisis demands."
