For all of their criticisms, if this UK government were to rejoin the EU and align this country with that of the rest or Europe then this will - in my eyes - be a successful government and I'd vote for them to remain in power in the next election (I'll be a citizen a UK by then 😁)

They show that battery-electric vehicles (BEVs) outperform gasoline-powered cars in lifecycle emissions after just two years. Battery production demands high energy. This creates a larger initial carbon footprint for EVs. However, EVs quickly offset this through lower use-phase emissions.
