Wow! So creatively simple and complex at the same time.

One of my all-time favorites.

They were also fans of the Lowly Worm character. We had this book 35 yrs ago. I didn't realize Busytown was still bustling along in the world of children's books and now, TV!

My sons loved for me to read a 'Huckle Cat book' to them when they were toddlers.

This is such a beautiful part of the country. The cost in $$ (paid for by our taxes) for this latest U.S. incursion into tribal territory must be astronomical. The lack of respect for the community is heartbreaking. The environmental impact, horrendous. Another shameful action by Trump's cult.

1. The Permitting Reform Bill only allows 150 days for grass root groups to organize/push back against corporate energy projects that could threaten the public's well-being and/or the environment. The 150 days allocated for community organizing/litigation isn't enough. 2. HELLO? Water usage in NM?🤔

This is your usual, safe, generic public service announcement. Try this from an NBC News report: "Since Pres. Donald Trump returned to office last year, the average custody times for children cared for by ORR grew from 37 days to almost 200 days this February, the AP reported." 3 yr old was abused.

Beautiful goats. I'd get out of the way of that 1st goat in a hurry. It looks powerful.

Just checked mine. ✅ Also wanted to thank trump for my $90 Medicare bribe which I promptly donated to my democratic House of Representative's campaign.

Be kind to bees. They remember who you are. 🐝

Yep, just donated my $90 Medicare bribe from trump to Rep.Gabe Vasquez (D) in NM. Thanks trump!

Just read my email from trump re: how awesome he thinks he is, giving seniors $90 to offset medicare costs. I'm so angry. I won't accept a voting bribe from that horrid, fetid, contemptible, soulless human. I just donated my $90 to @repgabevasquez.bsky.social. #voteblue #medicarebribe

Yes, hummers are hummingbirds. I'm too lazy to type it out. 😄

Marigold and Cosmos blooms looking great into the fall season. The Cosmos is a beacon for the last migrating hummers to stop by for sugar water. #fallflowers #gardens

The Permitting Reform Bill's window for grass root groups to organize and push back against corporate energy projects that could threaten the public's well-being and/or the environment is too short. The 150 days allocated to organize communities/litigation is not enough.

Was anyone else interested in hearing each of the dog names? 👋🐶

When I saw the straw I started thinking, small horse? small cow? Chickens?

I just looked them up too. Thanks for the reminder Jan. They're interesting little creatures.

They look like tiny anteaters.

Haha, yes. I adopted Ham about a yr and a half ago from a shelter. Charlie arrived soon after that (from a friend who passed away) and Chloe adopted me by showing up in my yard a little over a yr ago. Never had cats prior to that, only dogs.

@breneke.bsky.social thanks for alerting me to Fat Bear Week. My bear didn't win, but the contest was fun.

Quite a variety! As a relatively new cat owner, it has been fun hearing the different sounds my 3 cats make.

Yep, you're right! Love it.

Whew. Glad the mama didn't come charging back as they saved the baby. I think an animal underpass might help this situation. 😉

I like her YouTube channel. She's located in Canada and works hard to help lower income folks get affordable or free grooming for their cats and dogs. She grooms strays that arrive at her local animal shelters.

Fascinating. For all its coziness, it would be a rough life in the cold winter months.

I watch a YouTube channel called Girl With the Dogs 2. She grooms cats and dogs. youtu.be/HUh19sxhWkM?...

Yes, it was fun. I'd never watched dog shows before we got hooked on that one.

Daisy loves to sleep in boxes. She squeezed some starter herbs out of the way to have a snooze among the porch plants. #dogsofbluesky

Yes, but he cleaned up easily. He was short haired and had some water repellent qualities from his lab genes. So it was a quick clean up and he enjoyed the extra shower.

Reminds me of a spaniel/lab dog I had years ago. He loved any kind of water, including mud puddles.
