@springio.net 2025 is over 😢 I had a great time hearing amazing talks about #spring, #java, #kotlin; meeting nice and wise people and having the opportunity to give my first conference talk on #greensoftware. A great shootout to @sergialmar.com for his effort and hospitality!

Wow, so many great announcements regarding performance optimisation at #springio25. It seems I need to revise the demo for my talk on #greensoftware 🍀 with #java and #spring 😱💚

After a bumpy start (no trains from #Tilburg) I started my green travel to @springio.net. Excited to meet you and speak about #greensoftware at #springio25!

Eurostar train to Paris-Nord at Rotterdam Central Station.

Another @kevlin.bsky.social while travelling to @springio.net 2025. Apparently Dutch buses still run Windows 95 (or a similar version) 😱

📢 Exciting news! I will be speaking at @springio.net 2025 in Barcelona on developing greener software 🍀. There are still some tickets left to hear me live on “Putting your software on a low-carb diet”, check 2025.springio.net. #Java #Kotlin #Spring #SoftwareArchitecture #GreenIT #sustainability

Even the screen itself is upside down because of this @kevlin.bsky.social in a Dutch train @nsonline.bsky.social

"Ultimately, slow.tech is a question of balance between the problem to be solved and the resources used." I love this quote from the @greenio-podcast.bsky.social newsletter. It should have a prominent place in any #software-architecture (not only the ones that claim to be #green).

Looking forward to tomorrow's grand opening of the Vita #Tilburg Walk-In. And a little honoured to see a portrait picture of my hand in the regional newspaper 😊

Dit zou ook goed nieuws zijn voor alle Nederlanders met christelijke familie in Zuid-Oost Europa, het midden-oosten en Noord-Afrika. Het maakt samen Pasen vieren een stuk eenvoudiger qua (school)vakantie.
