it's been so fun watching people play the Everything MUST Fit! demo!! we were working on it in secret for some time and I was nervous about sharing it publicly bc it's so different than Love, Ghostie, but I'm really glad to see so many people enjoying it 🫶

so, I might not be posting as much on socials, but that's because I'm hard at work developing instead! I want to uphold our reputation of making games with lots of love and care and being (mostly) bug-free! that matters most to me 🥰

Jennifer - Everything MUST Fit! | Love, Ghostie @janbehchanbeh.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

even now, Love, Ghostie is sitting at >115k wishlists, which I would have been ecstatic about when it was coming out, but I feel like now that number doesn't mean much 😅 I couldn't do anything for MONTHS after Love, Ghostie came out, and I really want to do something more sustainable this time!

Jennifer - Everything MUST Fit! | Love, Ghostie @janbehchanbeh.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

wishlists/marketing ARE important, but not at the cost of me being super stressed all the time! even now, our wishlist numbers aren't the greatest for Everything MUST Fit! but seeing people play the demo validates that what we're doing is right making a good game matters more to me than numbers!

Jennifer - Everything MUST Fit! | Love, Ghostie @janbehchanbeh.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

I was TOO focused/obsessed with wishlist numbers! My mental health definitely took a hit when I felt like we weren't hitting "good" numbers I spent so much energy on wishlist numbers/marketing, and this time, I'm putting all that energy towards making our game the best it can be

The Everything MUST Fit! demo is coming out TOMORROW!!!! I've been watching videos/streams of people playing it already, and it makes me so happy! I was so burnt out from Love, Ghostie that I'm trying to take a diff approach this time around. Wishlists are important but... (cont. ⬇️)
