they don't ... since 23/24. from what i could figure out, i think this is old news that relies on an article from Vedomosti newspaper which back then refered to rosstat as its source.

does this maybe include the recent bond sales?

the banks weren't sure how many of their loans would go bad. so they weren't eager to take on more debt from the government. that is until the federal government stepped in and offered emergency financial measures to prevent widespread vendor bankruptcies.

because july is when the first strikes on wildberies happened. a big enterprise with huge debt at russian banks and somewhere between 500k and 1million resellers that too tend to have their own loans. meaning the security of a crap ton of debt was suddenly put in question.

actually not that overloaded, at least when it comes to exports ... but that is mostly due to the collapse of russias coal mining industry

because putin has a well established history of using bodyguards in such roles for his propaganda stunts. the same people played parents of dead soldiers or during the christmas sermon, playing fishermen during a meeting with putin or as ice cream seller during another propaganda stunt.

funnily enough, oil money isn't going to fix that. the main driving factor for this are the high interest rates crippling the civilian economy. same thing is happening to steel production too with mmk recently in the news.

most of them come from the regional governments budgets ... hence depending on region the ability to get compensated varies wildly some pay out fine, some push bureaucracy in the way and then there is the corruption. like commanders insisting on bribes before they declare someone dead instead of mia

economic pressure alone won't stop putin but it certainly helps reduce russias capabilities in this war this set actually has serious points lowered price cap ban on 3rd party refined products swift bans total ban on transactions how much of that actually goes through is the real question

this was a 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫, not exactly the "following orders" grunt type. he very much had his share of responsibility for the misery caused under his command.

crypto is not suitable for this kind of situation ... sure some oligarchs might be able to get the funds for a new car or some real estate shit, but good luck finding an exchange that accepts a few dozen trillions of rubles every quarter.

whats different to the last 15years during which they claimed they would replace the dollar any minute now? so far there hasn't been any progress (as in actuall policy ... not bs like the waving around of a fake bank note for the press)

i think neither macron nor starmer have much hope to change trumps mind ... rather this is about damage control. first off, to make it a bit tougher for him to sell the idea that europe wants&profits from this war and to prevent him from stopping arms sales either through or even to europe over all

they struggle because exports collapsed ... domestic use always was just around 1/4th of exports. arms production doesn't replace that

reducing angular velocity by baiting, sounds good ... on paper in reality it means that a bunch of idiots start firing at a tiny drone that keeps diving inbetween them a great way to guarantee friendly fire incidents

that is literally what russia keeps claiming all this shit about how this weapon or that delivery puts a nation or the west in general in direct conflict with russia. the "russia is at war with nato" song&dance yet russia somehow gets to deploy north korean troops and we can't call em out?
