A few images from my children’s picture book THE WORLD IN OUR BACKYARD. Out with Simon & Schuster, available now. It’s important to look through a lens of wonder and bring our imaginations to the world.

We live with nature even in the most urban city centers, and it’s important for us to appreciate all its amazing wonders! Let’s take a step back and enjoy things that are truly important; the birds, the insects, the flowers, even the slugs! #childrensbooks #youngreaders #booksky #backyard #lovenature

First review is in and it’s a good one! When I created this book, I definitely loved playing with the humour and the contradiction of the images and text, but most importantly was the heart of the story; that we can understand and care for each other despite our differences. #KidLit, #KidLitArt
